Service Description

The art of dance can be used to portray stories in a unique way. This class is going to focus on how body movement and facial expression can take a dance and turn it into a powerful narrative. This is a beginner appropriate class, however it will require a rigorous amount of work from your dancer. With a strong focus on proper dance etiquette, audition tips, and dance foundations, this class will prepare your student to thrive in the theater environment. Dresscode: - Shorts must be fingertip length or longer (no jean shorts) - Leggings/sweatpants are appropriate (but you may get hot) - NO dresses or skirts - Dance shoes are optional (if wanting to purchase please get tan jazz shoes or character heels) // If no dance shoes please bring a pair of socks that come over the ankles to be your “dance” footwear - NO flipflops, crocs, or sandals of any kind
