Daniel Shelby
Elementary/High School Tutor
Daniel Shelby is a thoughtful and encouraging tutor who brings patience, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning to his work with students. Much of Daniel’s early tutoring experience comes from working closely with his younger siblings, where he discovered a deep joy in helping others understand challenging concepts and celebrating their growth and progress.
Daniel is currently studying Psychology at Glendale Community College and hopes to pursue a future career in counseling or forensic psychology. Guided by his Christian faith, he strives to be a positive, God-honoring influence in the lives of the students he tutors while supporting their academic growth and confidence.
Outside of academics, Daniel has been actively involved in school clubs, including book club and Students for Life, and served as captain of the chess team for several years. He has a strong love for chess and board games and enjoys using strategy, critical thinking, and encouragement to help students succeed.
