Miranda Parren

Miranda Parren is an enthusiastic Academic Tutor at Arise AZ who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and reach their academic goals. She has four years of experience working with children through volunteering in her church’s children’s ministry, babysitting, and participating in an Education Professions program during high school. Through that program, Miranda gained hands-on experience supporting teachers and students in elementary school classrooms while developing her understanding of effective teaching practices.

Miranda is currently a freshman at Grand Canyon University, where she plans to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology. She enjoys getting to know each student and discovering the learning strategies that work best for them. Her tutoring sessions are designed to be fun, encouraging, and engaging while providing individualized support based on each student’s needs.

Miranda believes students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. She is excited to help students work through challenges, develop new skills, and discover greater confidence in their ability to learn and succeed.
