Sepphora Andrade
Academic Tutor
Sepphora Andrade is a dedicated tutor with more than 10 years of experience working with children in both educational and community settings. Throughout her career, she has served multiple roles in the public school setting including substitute teacher, and after-school tutor for students in grades 3–8. She also previously worked as a social worker, where she gained valuable experience supporting all needs of children and families. As a mother of three, Sepphora understands the importance of creating a safe, encouraging environment where every child can learn and thrive.
Sepphora earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Family Studies from Arizona State University. She has also completed professional training in classroom de-escalation techniques, equipping her with strategies to foster positive, productive learning environments.
What excites Sepphora most about tutoring is helping students have the “aha” moment. She believes every child learns differently and is committed to tailoring each session to meet the individual needs, learning style, and goals of the student. Whether a child benefits from a structured approach or a more relaxed learning environment, Sepphora strives to create fun, engaging, supportive lessons that build confidence, encourage growth, and help every student reach their full potential.
